Gabon too, like other African countries, initially used the magnetic telephone cards produced by Autelca, before moving on to the chip system. The first issue was a series of two values: blue 3100F, with a run of 220,000, and yellow 6200F, a run of 90,000. Both of these cards had a white back, and were reprinted two years later, but they had an advertisement on the back. In subsequent Autelca issues, the O.P.T. logo was replaced by a new design.
