This nation no longer exists since January 1, 1993, but before the split between Czech Republic and Slovakia, some chip cards were issued. The first two appeared in May 1991, on the occasion of the commemoration of the bicentennial of the country; 10,000 of the 150 units were printed and 20,000 of the 50 units, both with SI-6 chips; the same amount was reprinted six months later, this time with SI-5 chips.
