Anjouan (also known as Ndzuwani or Nzwani) is an island in the Islamic Federal Republic of Comoros. The island proclaimed its independence in 1997, and the secession was confirmed in a popular referendum in both 1998 and 2000.
Two prepaid cards, of the remote memory type, were issued by the “Anjouan Phone +” company around 2002, but the company ceased operations after a few months.
These cards were made by the same manufacturer of “STOI Télécom” cards from the island of Mayotte.
